Trend that actually held — week after week in the top half
Updated September 8, 2026
A stock can spike into the leaders for a month and call it a trend. The ones that matter stay there. This board measures durability of leadership directly: how many of the last 52 weeks each S&P 500 stock spent ranked in the top half of the entire market on relative strength.
It’s a stricter test than a one-year return, because it can’t be carried by a single great stretch — a name has to keep showing up near the front, week after week, to climb this list. Persistent relative strength is one of the most reliable patterns in markets: trends in force tend to stay in force longer than people expect.
