Privacy
*Effective 2026-08-29 · applies to stox.market and the Stox MCP server*
Stox is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no user accounts, no advertising, and no sale or sharing of personal data — full stop.
What we collect, and why
Site analytics. We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregate: page views and Web Vitals, with no cross-site tracking and no profile of you. We see that a page was visited, not who visited it.
Email subscription (optional). If you subscribe to updates, we store the email address you give us, confirmed by double opt-in. It is used only to send you Stox digests via our email provider (Resend), never shared or sold. Every email carries an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes your address. You can also request deletion at the contact below.
Your preferences stay in your browser. The watchlist, chart modes, and similar settings live in your browser's local storage. They never reach our servers.
The MCP server
The Stox MCP server (`stox-mcp.fly.dev`) has no accounts and no authentication. Requests contain only the tool arguments a client sends — tickers, filter values — and responses are derived market statistics. Standard transient operational logs (as provided by our host, Fly.io) may record request metadata briefly for reliability; we keep no database of requests and build no profiles.
Infrastructure
The site runs on Vercel; the MCP server runs on Fly.io; emails are delivered by Resend. Each processes data only as needed to provide the service. Our upstream market-data providers receive nothing about you — visitor traffic never reaches them.
